CHARO Community Development Corporation, operator of the Los Angeles SBA Women’s Business Center and Business Incubator will be hosting its 4th Annual Business Conference and Expo, Thursday, March 27, 2008, from 1pm to 7pm at the Montebello Quiet Cannon, located at 901 N. Via Clemente in Montebello. The entrance fee is 25.00 per person.
The EXPO will feature several training tracks including Financial Strategies For Growing Your Business, Green Technologies, Legal Concerns for Business Owners, Techniques for Growing Sales and Securing Government and Private Entity Contracts. “Our goal is to provide the San Gabriel business community with access to some of the highly lucrative government and business contracts that are available as well as tools to increase their bottom line for 2008. We know its going to be a tough year – CHARO is working hard to bring necessary resources to our business community so they can increase their competitiveness and directly access buyers and bankers with access to capital and procurement opportunities” stated CHARO CEO, Cynthia Amador.
CHARO is expecting approximately three hundred attendees to this event. Sponsors to date include: Wells Fargo, Washington Mutual, Cathay Bank, US Bank, Wachovia Bank, and Southern California Edison. Experts from the IRS, State Board of Equalization, SBA, as well as CPA’s and Green Technologies will be featured speakers.
Entrepreneurs will also be able to secure valuable small business service information through the Exhibitor and Expo area. CHARO is also hosting a Gift Pavilion for Mother’s Day gift ideas. There will be free “goody bags” for the first 300 pre-paid registrants.
