Tellme®, a Microsoft subsidiary improving everyday life with the power of voice, today launched a nationwide Spanish language service for Domino’s Pizza® (NYSE: DPZ - News). Domino’s Pizza is leveraging Tellme’s expertise in voice and Internet technologies to provide a new native language automated customer service to millions of Spanish-speaking Americans.
QUIERES PIZZA?
Domino’s Pizza is using Tellme’s platform to provide the first toll-free service offering an end-to-end Spanish language pizza ordering experience. Starting today, all calls to 1-888-DOMINOS® will be answered with a dedicated Spanish language customer service experience. Calls will be answered with a Spanish voice service that plays special offers of the day, provides ordering options and captures information about where the caller is located to determine the local store that delivers to their location. For orders that need assistance, the caller will be connected with a Spanish-speaking representative to complete the order.
One of the most advanced features available with this service is the ability to offer personalized order options based on the caller’s phone or Web-order history. The service recognizes the caller’s phone number and relates it to previous orders to offer a more personalized experience. Once the order is placed, it is immediately sent to the local Domino’s Pizza store. With this service, Tellme and Domino’s Pizza are delivering a more personalized experience, making ordering from Domino’s Pizza faster, easier and customized to what the caller wants.
“Spanish-speaking customers are an important, and growing segment for Domino’s Pizza,” said Rob Weisberg, VP of precision and print marketing at Domino’s Pizza. “Research shows that Spanish speakers who call English automated systems, even if there is a Spanish option, have a higher hang-up rate than if the service is in their preferred language. Tellme’s platform gives us the ability to offer a consistent experience for callers and now a dedicated Spanish language service.”
“As the market for voice services continues to grow, many of our clients are excited to bring the innovations of their English-based customer service to their Spanish-speaking customers, using Tellme’s platform to provide native-language voice services, personalization and intelligent call management,” said Jamie Bertasi, vice president of Business Solutions, Tellme. “We are excited to be expanding with our clients and we’re moving into this market with the same care and dedication to the end user experience as we’ve become known for with our English-based services.”
1-888-DOMINOS will launch initially in 42 states and will support nearly 2,000 Domino’s Pizza stores.
Tellme builds and operates voice services for some of the largest companies in the world. Tellme’s voice platform answers incoming customer service calls, converts them to a URL request and pulls data from Web-based services that provide automated information to the caller. This ability to provide phone services with a voice platform means all customers using the platform can immediately upgrade to new features and functionality of the platform, such as the ability to now use Tellme’s Spanish support.”
