“Members of the Lowcountry’s Hispanic community are concerned. That’s because the Latin American Council announced they are cutting ties with the dozens of who meet there every morning. It’s a decision the council thinks will ultimately help them serve the people better.

Many ride their bikes miles every day, just to wait at The Latin American Council for someone to stop and offer work. Because they know once they’re at that building, their odds of making money increase.”*
