Last Friday, I temporarily rechristened this blog In Manhattan with Lisa Johnson. Today, I have to defer to Habla Espanol with Lisa Johnson.
Thanks to a series of extremely unlikely and illogical events, I ended up appearing on the new Telemundo show Doctora Amor, chatting animatedly with those around me in Spanish (the program, hosted by veteran TV personality Alessandra Rampolla, debuts in March). I do indeed speak the language and, as a matter of fact, could be considered quite fluent… when I lived in Spain some 15 years ago. I also spent a semester abroad studying the language and culture in Mexico City. Still, it was a stretch for me to go on this upcoming talk show to chat in the capacity of occasional on camera date coach on Patti Stanger’s Millionaires Club and author of How to Snare a Millionaire.”*
