“The Police Department now has its first Hispanic commander with the recent promotion of Capt. Jack Daluz.

Daluz, who was the first Hispanic to be named captain, will take command of District 1 in northwest Aurora. His promotion took effect Saturday. Daluz has been with the department for 15 years.”*
