Arizona Senate Bill Drafts Temporary Worker Program

An Arizona Senate bill would make a temporary worker program for people from Mexico.
“So they’re asking the Federal government to approve Arizona’s guest worker program. That’s kinda cool,” Camper said.
Employers with labor shortages would recruit through Mexican consulates in Arizona. Those approved would have a valid ID card for two years and couldn’t go to other American states. The bill disqualifies anyone convicted of a U.S. crime or a Mexican violation equivalent to a U.S. felony.”*
