The Washington apple industry will continue to grow as demand catches up with supply, just as it’s done several times in the past, top officials of one of the nation’s largest tree fruit companies say.
West Mathison, president of Wenatchee’s Stemilt Growers Inc., and his grandfather, Tom Mathison, chairman of the Stemilt board, were featured speakers at the Wenatchee Valley College lecture series last Monday evening.
