A beloved tradition at parties and celebrations for centuries, the humble piñata is starting to come back in a big way as a fun fiesta activity. And it’s not just for kids this time – the modern piñata is a work of art that’s fun for everyone.
Piñatas, like so many childhood institutions, have grown ever more sophisticated with the times. Many style-conscious piñata makers have created piñata models that celebrate fashion and glamour, with designs ranging from dragons to butterflies. One piñata was even built to resemble the Eiffel Tower in Paris!
