Comedian Paul Rodriguez launching series at casino - Southern California

Paul Rodriguez was thinking big about his new contract with Soboba Casino.

“I feel like Obama must feel after the endorsement by Kennedy,” he said on the phone between business meetings in West Los Angeles. He is launching a monthly comedy club at the San Jacinto facility called Latin Laughfest. He’ll appear there six times in 2008, beginning today, and bring in up-and-coming comics for the other dates.

Rodriguez has more than 20 years of experience in stand-up and movie acting. He has also been very active in production. His “Original Latin Kings of Comedy” (2002) showcased friends George Lopez and Cheech Marin.”*
