“The 18-year-old Beef Quality Assurance workshop program reached a milestone last week.

Minnesota Beef Council staff offered the BQA information in both English and Spanish to 80 beef and dairy steer producers and workers.

The Morris workshop was the perfect location for the council’s first bilingual effort. The Stevens County area has about 250 Hispanic workers on dairy and beef farms, said Dave Wulf, Minnesota Beef Council director and Morris beef producer. Wulf estimates the county has 10 dairy farms, 25 cow-calf operations and 20 beef feedlots.”*
