Hillary Clinton’s Democratic primary win in Arizona was partially fueled by strong backing from Hispanic voters.
Fifty-eight percent of the Latino vote went to the New York senator. Hispanic activist and Phoenix attorney Daniel Ortega said the minority vote is crucial.
“The Latino vote is going to be extremely important in this election,” Ortega said. “The bottom line is that the national candidates are finally recognizing the power of our vote.”"*
