Nacional Records is proud to announce the March 4th release of ‘Supersaund 2012’, the new project from Señor Flavio, bassist, songwriter and founding member of legendary Latin rock band Los Fabulosos Cadillacs. The album is sure to please longtime fans of the band as Flavio adds garage rock, psychobilly and punk to the reggae and ska that made Los Fabulosos Cadillacs global stars.
Señor Flavio’s band Los Fabulosos Cadillacs are an internationally-renowned and versatile group that defined the Rock en Español genre and have sold millions of albums worldwide. Songs like “Matador”, “V Centenario”, “Mal Bicho” y “Vos Sabés” were anthems for a generation and inspired thousands of youth and musicians across the United States, Latin America and Europe. Global hit “Matador” was featured in the platinum-selling soundtrack to the film Grosse Point Blank.
Señor Flavio is widely recognized as a founding father of the Latin alternative movement. Since the release of the last Los Fabulosos Cadillacs album, he has been involved in a variety of musical projects including the production of albums for acts like Panteon Rococo and Los Rabanes.
