Hillary Clinton might be the favorite to win the majority of the Latino vote in today’s New York primary, but Barack Obama supporters are not about to go down quietly.
Supporters for both candidates fanned out across Latino neighborhoods in the city over the weekend, highlighting the strengths of each in a last-minute effort to bring New York’s 232 delegates to their side.
“Everyone is declaring Clinton the winner, but I think they are underestimating the power of the Latino vote,” said Victor Cruz, a professor of political science of SUNY Stony Brook.”*
