Eva Mendes is proving that not every star’s battle with personal hardship is open for public consumption.
In the wake of reports that the Hitch star has entered into a rehab treatment facility, a rep for Mendes confirms to E! News that the 31-year-old actress is taking time off to deal with “personal issues.”
“Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support,” publicist Brad Cafarelli said.”*
