Antonio Banderas’ 87-year-old father has died at his son’s home in Spain, the actor’s publicist said Sunday.
“Jose Dominguez Prieto, the loving father of Antonio Banderas, passed away on Saturday, February 2 at Banderas’ home in Marbella, Spain,” publicist Robin Baum said in a statement.
Prieto, who was a policeman in Spain’s Civil Guard for 45 years, had been battling a long illness, Baum said.”*
