“Bianca Marroqun, the first Mexican actress to play the lead role in a Broadway musical, is back on stage.

The 32 year-old is again the sexy, sweet — and convicted for murder — Roxie Hart in “Chicago”’s new season, running through April 20.

Marroqun, who was born in Monterrey, made her Broadway debut in the same role in 2002, after starring in the musical’s Mexican version a year earlier.”*
