The Mexico-based company said one-way fares will be as low as $9.99 — plus taxes and fees —when purchased at least five weeks in advance. A search of the VivaAerobus Web site on Tuesday found that the cheapest round-trip ticket between Austin and Monterrey, Nuevo León, listed for the new service was about $120; between Austin and Cancún, Quintana Roo, it was about $140.”*
