The Executive Leadership & Development Institute seeks applicants for its 2008 class. This 10-month program trains emerging minority professionals for executive positions in public service organizations. It hones the capabilities of managers and administrators who have demonstrated achievement and potential.
The institute was created in 2006 by the North Texas chapter of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) and the Hispanic Leadership Organization (HLO). Institute participants meet monthly at various Metroplex locations to hear presentations and practice skills. They also participate in a public-sector service project.”*
