The award-winning, nationally syndicated TV programs American Latino TV (ALTV) and LatiNation announced today that new episodes will begin airing this weekend, February 2 and 3 in over 100 cities throughout the U.S.. The groundbreaking, English-language shows will debut new shows that continue their mission of celebrating American Latino culture for everyone.
American Latino TV, “celebrating American Latino Pride,” kicks things off with WWE announcer and sexy songstress, Lilian Garcia as she shares her transformation from pro wrestling ring presenter to full-fledged recording artist. Then American Latino heads to Hollywood for an exclusive interview with celebrity blogger and TV personality, Perez Hilton, as he dishes on the keys to his success and why he relishes being Hollywood’s most hated gossip blogger. American Latino shines the spotlight on the windy city with Chi-town’s own Chicago Fire, one of the elite Major League Soccer franchises in the U.S. and the Chicago Chapter of Amistad Car Club, whose members are breaking the stereotype associated with Latino car clubs. Lastly, viewers are treated to an outrageous and exclusive interview with the one-and-only, legendary superstar, Charo. The multi-talented and pioneering celebrity takes a look back at her famed career and tells how her trademark “Cuchi-Cuchi” dance helped opened the door for sexy celebs J-Lo, Beyonce and Latinas in Hollywood.
LatiNation, “representing a new generation,” features a segment on DeSanti Talents, a talent and modeling agency owned by Susie DeSantiago, a former model now representing the beautiful people of Chicago. Also on this episode, comedian George Lopez discusses the controversial documentary, “Brown is the New Green,” which uncovers how the U.S. Hispanic marketing industry contributes to a skewed image of Latinos in the media. LatiNation also soars through the dirt hills with Pro BMX dirt jumper, Ricardo Laguna. Then join LatiNation host and Sirius Radio personality Jose as he holds a jam session with Latino hardcore rockers, Madball.
