“Gainesville will be a site this spring for one of several Institutes for Leadership planned around the state by the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials.

The group has begun accepting applications for the sessions to be held in Dalton, Atlanta, Columbus, and Savannah, as well as Gainesville.

The Gainesville meetings - which will be conducted in and for English-speaking participants - will be held on Saturdays over a period of weeks in March and April. They are open to anyone, regardless of racial or ethnic backgrounds.”*
