Newsletter readers - Don't forget HispanicTIPS - Gracias, Tomás

“It has been 35 years since abortion was legalized in the United States, and 35% of registered Latino voters in New York, California, Illinois, Florida and Texas are in favor of its being legal, according to a recent poll by ImpreMedia, this country’s largest chain of print media in Spanish and which publishes this weekly.

However, the majority of Latinos are against it, and although it will not be the main issue on which most will finally decide how they will vote in the coming presidential election in November, several experts believe that it is an issue which will have influence in the hard-fought primaries in some states where one does not have to be registered with a political party to vote”*
