NBC Universal’s Spanish-language web Telemundo has settled a four-year-old federal lawsuit filed by Mexican media conglom Televisa in Miami for an undisclosed amount.
Suit alleged that Telemundo “tortuously interfered” with Televisa’s contract with telenovela thesp Mauricio Islas in 2004.”*
