Knowledge is Power!

“Nexxo Financial has just announced the appointment of Adriana Eiriz, as Chief Marketing Officer. Ms. Eiriz, an 18-year veteran of the US Hispanic marketplace, was the first Latin American female to be elected to the Board of Directors of the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA), and also served as Chair of the ERA’s US Hispanic Council and Education Committee. She was one of the pioneers at Lexicon Marketing, and her leadership as its Director of International and Domestic Markets, was instrumental in the introduction of new programs which lead to the rapid growth of the company, recently considered the #1 US Hispanic Marketer by Ad Age.

In her new role, Ms. Eiriz will report to David Alvarez, CEO and Co-Founder of the company. “Adriana’s marketing experience and leadership skills with some of the countries top marketers, combined with her in-depth knowledge of the Hispanic market, was a strong factor in bringing her on board,” said Mr. Alvarez. “We are very pleased with her decision to join us and look forward to an even stronger future under her new direction.”

Her marketing and advertising expertise lead Ms. Eriz to successfully spearhead other key Hispanic DR and retail initiatives at Latin Links, Inc., and most recently, prior to joining Nexxo, she served as managing Director at Vivar Advertising, where she was responsible for all of the agency’s strategic initiatives, US Hispanic-specific communication strategies and new business development.

“Nexxo is at a crucial point of growth with plans for even greater expansion, and I am very happy to be heading our marketing efforts during such an important time in our company’s history,” commented Ms. Eiriz.

Nexxo Financial is the leader in self-serve remittance, leveraging technology to transform the way the Hispanic community sends money to their families back home. Nexxo offers the hard working US Latino a safer, faster, easier and more convenient way to provide for their loved ones. By visiting any of over 100 cajeros located throughout California, Nexxo’s customers can send money to over 18,000 partner locations like HSBC, Bancomer, BancoSal, Banco Cuscatlan, Banco Uno, Banco Agromercantil, Banco Agricola, Banrural, Banco Ficohsa and many others.”*
