“City Councilman-at-large Ruben Ramos Jr. - who also was recently sworn in as the 33rd District Assemblyman - has been named to the Assembly’s Appropriations Committee. He also will serve on the Education Committee.

Serving on the two powerful committees is a nice double-whammy for Hoboken, though it sure doesn’t make up for losing state Sen. Bernard Kenny, who retired from office rather than face a challenge for his seat from Union City Mayor Brian Stack.”*
