“OK, that’s overstated. They haven’t taken over, but they are part of a new female majority on San Antonio’s City Council.

With yesterday’s appointment of Jennifer Ramos, there are now five Mexican American women on council with Mary Alice Cisneros, Lourdes Galvan, Diana Cibrian and Delicia Herrera, all elected last year. San Antonio now joins Detriot as only the second major U.S. city with a female-majority council.”*
