SureClose(R) Expands Market Reach to Spanish-Speaking Home Buyers and Sellers

“PropertyInfo Corp., a Stewart Company, announces the international release of its most-widely used online transaction management system, SureClose. To meet the growing demand of the Spanish-speaking community within and outside the United States, the SureClose Professional Guest View is now available in Spanish.

“Over the next 20 years Hispanics are expected to make up 40 percent of all first-time homebuyers according to the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies,” said José Menéndez, vice president, director of multicultural markets for Stewart Title. “The Spanish version of the SureClose Professional Guest View is a unique product – a first step that will allow every Stewart issuing office a useful way to exemplify its commitment to its Spanish-speaking customers.”

“As the Spanish-speaking population continues to grow, SureClose will equip agents with the necessary information to guide domestic and international home buyers and sellers through the listing and closing process,” said Gregg Humphries, senior vice president, chief technology officer of Stewart International. “SureClose Spanish allows home buyers and sellers to log into a custom-branded Web site translated into Spanish to view all the documents pertinent to their real estate transaction.”

Border Title Group of Laredo, Texas, has been using the new Spanish version of the SureClose Professional Guest View to allow home buyers and sellers, as well as real estate professionals, access into their transactions online.

“According to the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University, Hispanics prefer to work with a real estate practitioner who speaks their own language,” said Jorge Diaz of Border Title Group. “Being able to view the SureClose Guest View in Spanish will assist our customers who feel more comfortable in their native language.”

SureClose gives real estate brokerages and individual real estate professionals, escrow officers, title agents and lenders the ability to manage and share digital documents online during the home purchase, home sale or refinance process. In addition, SureClose users can easily index and archive transactions online for future reference by the home buyers and sellers. More information can be found at www.sureclose.com.“*
