Knowledge is Power!
ABC Radio Networks En Espanol today announced that Tu Vida Es Mi Vida (My Life is Your Life), hosted by celebrated motivational speaker and writer Maria Marin, will add Spanish Broadcasting Systems’ WPAT-FM 93.1 in New York to its growing list of syndicated affiliates. The show will launch in New York on January 20 and air Sundays from 9-11 p.m. ET. The Spanish-language radio program got its start in January 2007 at KSSE-FM in Los Angeles and was signed to national syndication by ABC Radio Networks En Espanol two months later. In that brief timeframe, Marin has earned a loyal following among listeners in several top Hispanic markets including Phoenix, Sacramento, Denver and El Paso and boosted KSSE-FM ratings with adults 25-54 in her timeslot by 61 percent. On the show, she addresses issues of personal growth and empowerment for women in the home and workplace while taking calls from listeners on love, life and topics in between. “Exposing Maria’s brand of energy and positive attitude to the New York market has been a priority for us,” said Darryl Brown, Executive Vice President of Multicultural Programming for ABC Radio Networks. “I’m delighted to have a valued parther like SBS join us in making this happen. Maria will be a strong addition to the fantastic programming lineup Tony Luna and his team at WPAT already have in place.”"*
