“Mike Huckabee announced Tuesday a plan to block immigrants hailing from terror-sponsoring nations — one of the hardest stances in the Republican presidential race that could incidentally lead to restricting immigrants from Cuba.

At a campaign stop in Rock Hill, S.C., Huckabee told a crowd that ”we ought to put a hiatus on people who come in here,” the Associated Press reported, “if they come from countries that sponsor and harbor terrorists.””*
