Tagged: impremedia, newspaper, Spanish-language
ImpreMedia, the heavyweight in the Spanish-language newspaper industry, and The McClatchy Co., parent of The Miami Herald and El Nuevo Herald, are joining forces in a bid to capture more national advertising in the Hispanic market.
Under the deal, both companies will offer their advertisers a lineup of newspapers and websites in 18 top Hispanic markets across the country, including the key ones of New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, and Texas.
Local businesses have traditionally provided the bread-and-butter advertising for Spanish-language newspapers, which cater to more specific, niche audiences than their English-language brethren.”*
