The Fort Worth stock show has acquired a Latin flavor.
It’s a place where Spanish-speaking moms and dads clad in jeans and cowboy hats bring their English-speaking kids to stare in awe at the livestock. It’s a place where nachos and burritos are sold in the same concession stands as turkey legs and hot dogs.
And it’s a place where the Best of Mexico show, with its Mexican charros and horse-riding adelitas, has drawn a crowd for the last eight years.”*
