Alfred Aguirre, a Placentia native, community leader and World War II veteran, died of renal failure Wednesday night at age 87.
He was surrounded by family at his home in the city.
“The family is doing well,” son Frederick “Rick” Aguirre said Thursday. “He lived a full life.”"*
