With representatives from the Mitt Romney and John McCain camps, the offices of Senator John Ensign, Congressman Jon Porter and a full house of Republican local candidates and elected officials, Sue Lowden, State of Nevada Republican Party Chairperson kicked-off the event together with NV RNHA Chairman, Otto Merida.

The highlight of the evening was a Straw Poll conducted by the organization, called “Nevada Republican Pulse”, which yielded the following tally:

2nd Place:………………….Rudy Giuliani  ………….19 votes

3rd Place:……………………John McCain……………17 votes

Candidate Ron Paul garnered 2 votes despite not being on the ballot. The event was a huge success and a great thermometer of Republican preferences in Nevada.
