Guards Carlos Arroyo and Guillermo Diaz go back a long way, to their childhood in Puerto Rico. They met up again at Staples Center as two of the few natives of their country to make it to the NBA.
The 28-year-old Arroyo has been around a while, playing for Toronto, Denver, Detroit, Utah and Orlando since making his debut during the 2001-02 season. The 22-year-old Diaz signed a 10-day contract with the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday, and was in uniform for their game against the Magic on Wednesday night.”*
