“Latino consumers can cast their votes on more than 15 major web sites including, www.univision.com for the top diversity TV and print ads for 2007. Winners will be announced at the star-studded, 12th Annual Urban Wheel Awards, which will be held at the elegant Fox Theatre on Jan. 15, 2008 during the North American International Auto Show. New this year is the diversity ad category, which encompasses all those auto manufacturers who not only practice diversity in their workplace but have embraced diversity in their marketing initiatives and created targeted creative messages for Latino and Latin American communities. New vehicle sales among ethnic minorities have grown more than 20 percent in the past two years, while the general market has declined by 2 percent, according to R.L. Polk.
