“After years of taking a pass, Gwinnett County this year joins many Georgia jurisdictions in seeking repayment for some of the costs of jailing illegal immigrants who have been convicted of crimes.

A Gwinnett jail official is disappointed the county only received $30,240 after requesting $133,000, and is wondering if the program is worth the effort.”*
