Disdaining the Iowa caucuses some 1,500 miles away, Republican presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani campaigned here this afternoon and told a crowd of about 200 that Florida’s Jan. 29 primary is a key to his White House hopes.
“Judith and I are both very happy to be here to show you how important this Florida primary is for us,” said Giuliani, who was accompanied by his wife after campaigning earlier in the day in New Hampshire.”*
