Photos used to expel Mexicans from U.S. schools

“Mexican children attending California public schools are being photographed as they cross the border, but in El Paso, that policy is deemed unnecessary and even “unfortunate” by local officials.

The policy began when Calexico, Calif., school officials hired a photographer to take pictures of children as they crossed the border.

The pictures are then used as evidence to expel students who are residents of Mexico.”*
