“The burgeoning Latino community in Waukesha is the subject of a new book by Walter Sava Ph.D. and Anselmo Villarreal. “Latinos in Waukesha” chronicles the rich culture and many contributions of this group of people, a subject that has not been addressed until now, says Sava, retired director of the United Community Center in Milwaukee, La Casa de Esperanza in Waukesha and Latino Arts Inc.

“After the publication of the book ‘Latinos in Milwaukee’ last year, I was approached by so many people asking if there was any chance of doing something about the Waukesha community,” he says.”*
