Energizer turns to music to reach out to Hispanics
Posted on: December 14th, 2007
What do you get when you cross the Energizer Bunny with popular Latin musicians? A couple of really long songs — and a new Hispanic marketing pitch.
Energizer Holdings Inc. of Town and Country has a new campaign to connect Spanish-speaking consumers to its batteries and drum-beating rabbit.
Leaving the drum solos to professionals, the company teamed up with Latin Grammy-nominated Elvis Crespo and the Camila band to craft Energizer’s first Latin music campaign. The musicians wrote and recorded their longest songs ever, tipping the hat to the bunny’s reputation for “going and going.”"*
