CNN en Español RADIO has extended for two more weeks its first-ever special incentive package for clients and agencies who pre-buy their 2008 flights. “The buzz around our ‘One Week Sale’ has been terrific,” said Luis Bello, CNN en Español RADIO U.S. Ad Sales Manager. “We want to give our friends in the advertising community ample time to integrate CNN en Español RADIO into their 2008 strategy.”
Until Friday, December 21, clients will receive a 20% discount on the purchase of spot advertising to air in 2008, while agencies will receive a 20% commission (instead of the industry-standard 15%) for orders placed during this special One Week Sale.
This limited-time offer also includes an exciting “added value” TV component. For every 52-week buying commitment of at least $1,923.00 per week on CNN en Español RADIO, advertisers will receive a package of 150 ten-second on-screen mentions on CNN en Español television. This cross-platform branding opportunity will consist of a logo (and possible tag line) on an on-screen banner that will appear during CNN en Español RADIO promos that air on television.
This TV banner package has a value of $25,000.
CNN en Español RADIO currently reaches 2 million Hispanic listeners in 50 U.S. markets including Los Angeles, New York and Miami. It is an ideal medium to reach the Hispanic community through its network of nearly 70 affiliates.
CNN en Español RADIO recently created its own in-house Sales Department in order to directly manage and strengthen its client and agency relations. This is one of a series of initiatives, in programming, content and ad sales marketing, that CNN en Español RADIO is developing as part of the celebration of its “Quinceañero” or 15th Anniversary celebration (CNN launched its Spanish-language radio service on March 29, 1993.)”*
