Music exec sues Univisión - The president of Univisión Music sued Univisión as it entered the final stages of an auction of its music division.

The president of Univisión Music Group has sued Univisión Communications, alleging that the parent company hurt the music division’s revenues in order to pay less for his equity stake in the music label.

The suit is the third pending against Univisión Music, and comes as Univisión enters the final stages of an auction of its music division, which it put up for sale in July.

The other two lawsuits allege that the music division bribed radio stations to play its songs and retaliated against executives who complained about the practice.”*
