Chile’s world famous tenor Tito Beltrán may face up to four years in jail for attempting to rape a minor, press reports confirmed this weekend.

While on tour in Sweden in 1999, Beltrán allegedly tried to force himself on actress María Lundqvist’s 16 year-old nanny. Beltrán voluntarily turned himself into the police in November and is currently under arrest in the city of Malmö.
