“With its 2008 schedule in place and no fewer than five races in heavily Hispanic markets, the Champ Car World Series has tracked an increase of attendance in the percentage of Hispanic fans throughout all of the Series’ events this past season.

In a new study recently conducted by Scarborough Research, a firm that analyzes demographic and audience figures, the percentage of Hispanic attendees at Champ Car events has increased from 17.9 percent in 2006 to 21.3 percent in 2007. The new study also shows that those attending Champ Car races are 47 percent more likely than the national average to be Hispanic.”*
