“Lance Cpl. Noah Ramos is home for the holidays. This Marine from Aurora knows firsthand about sacrifice. He lost his brother, Lance Cpl. Hector Ramos, in a helicopter crash in Iraq in January 2005. At the time Noah was in boot camp, and he could have given up on the military.

“He didn’t die for me to quit. He died for all of us,” said Ramos, who also served six months in Iraq and is stationed in Japan.

The Ramos brothers represent the contributions that Hispanics have made to the U.S. military that are too often overlooked.”*
