Sanz, who had a breakdown last spring that
forced him to take two months off in the middle of a world tour, the payoff has been renewed focus and power onstage — and renewed peace off it.
”You have to put things in perspective,” Sanz said from Houston, as he prepared to play a sold-out concert on the tour that brings him to Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena Saturday night (replacing a canceled June show). “It was stress, something that had never affected me, but this time, yes, it did. So I had to pay. A doctor told me to stop for a couple of months to recuperate completely.””*
