Republicans strategize before tonight’s Univision debate

Florida Republican Hispanic leaders gathered this afternoon in advance of tonight’s GOP presidential debate to strategize about how to attract more Hispanic voters, who the leaders said could be crucial in the November 2008 presidential election.

At its first meeting today, the Republican Party of Florida Hispanic Leadership Council identified core issues to convince Hispanics who traditionally register and vote Democratic, including Puerto Ricans, that the GOP best represents them.”*
