Members of metro-Atlanta’s Hispanic community want an apology from Carroll County Commissioner Bill Head after he used the term “wetback” in a county meeting this week.
“If he doesn’t apologize, he should resign,” said Jerry Gonzalez, executive director of the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials. “If he doesn’t apologize, he can’t conduct county business without bias against Latinos.”*
