KUVS-19 hires news director – Isabel Gonzalez – Sacramento

KUVS Univision Channel 19 on Thursday announced it has hired Isabel Gonzalez, a 17-year veteran of the broadcast industry, as the station’s news director.
Gonzalez replaces Pedro Calderon who moved to Spain earlier this year. She will oversee the station’s 6 a.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. local newscast. She assumes her role Jan. 2.”*
