“The firm that won a lawsuit against the village last year over the village’s treatment of Hispanic day laborers is donating the fees it collected to charity.

The law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP will use the $70,000 it collected to create the Day Laborers’ Fund. The fund will give grants to nonprofit groups benefitting day laborers and their families in the Larchmont and Mamaroneck area.”*
