Tribune’s ‘Hoy’ Launches Immigration Blog

Hoy, Tribune Co.’s Spanish-language daily in Chicago and Los Angeles, Monday launched its second blog, this one dedicated to immigration issues.
Hoy said it was launching the blog, “at a moment of historic change for the U.S. immigration population.” The blog will have “an emphasis on local questions but without forgetting national (issues), because what happens to an Hispanic in one part of the nation could have a direct or indirect impact on some resident in California,” a note to readers in the Los Angeles edition of Hoy said.”*
